As analysts, getting to the why behind key metrics is your primary goal. However, there are many stages in the analysis process you need to accomplish this. Among the most important is delivering clear, fast reporting so that stakeholders can act quickly to resolve problems.

In the past, getting insights from your analysis tool of choice into your company’s reporting could be a chore. This is particularly true when it comes to qualitative analysis.

Accelerator AI – Relative Insight’s latest addition – removes all the friction. This in-platform report generator brings together critical evidence, identifies key themes, outlines trends, and provides verbatim examples, enabling you to bypass manual processes and dive straight into metric-backed interpretation and recommendations.

What does this look like in practice? A US football franchise that uses Relative Insight to analyze its gameday fan experience surveys prioritizes the speed it gets insights to stakeholders. With some home games only a week apart, the team needs quick decision making to implement any changes designed to improve fan experience.

Being able to cut the time between insights being discovered and reporting to management without any loss in quality was a key objective for the team. So, they were ideal candidates to help us test Accelerator AI.

Here is an overview of how to cut insight delivery to stakeholders from hours to minutes using fast reporting delivered by Accelerator AI.

Immediate detail on promoters and detractors

The franchise segments fan experience survey responses by promoters and detractors. With these segments already pre-built in the Relative Insight platform, Accelerator AI separates its report to identify key findings from each group.

The report begins by presenting headline findings by comparing both datasets. It then goes on to highlight the key insights and themes within each dataset.

In this example, we’re displaying the team’s fan experience survey feedback from week five of last season. But, Accelerator AI can pick out the key insights you need from any of your datasets.

Given the report’s detail, the tool features a sidebar for easy navigation. This enables you to jump to the insights you find most valuable. For example, for the fan experience team, the key area of focus was fixing slow concession lines.

Rather than having to scroll through the full report to understand this area of interest, they could quickly navigate to the relevant section. This ensures fast reporting on the priority areas of feedback.

Metrics and verbatims are lay-ups

The new tool doesn’t just summarize what’s in your text data. Accelerator AI picks out key metrics and examples to make your reporting as streamlined as possible.

Accelerator AI goes beyond identifying slow concession lines as a key element of detractors’ feedback. The tool also identifies the key linguistic features that back this up, including words, topics and phrases. It also lists key metrics and highlights themes to provide further evidence.

Accelerator AI also provides evidence in the form of verbatim examples. Nothing brings fan experience analysis to life better than inserting direct quotes from fans into your reports.

You’ll be presented with several verbatim examples that back up your insights. You can copy one, several or all of the surfaced examples within your feedback to stakeholders.

Accelerator AI makes evidence gathering a lay-up. It surfaces relevant metrics, summaries and verbatims, making it quick and easy for you to select what you want to include within your reports.

How Accelerator AI delivers fast reporting for a football franchise

Our fan experience team were eager to test how much time Accelerator AI would save when it came to insight delivery. This summer, the franchise hosted two preseason games, with the team using these matchups as a trial period for the new tool.

Previously, it would take the team a minimum of two hours to write up insights from fan experience surveys. When using Accelerator AI across its two preseason games, the team produced reports within 30 minutes and 20 minutes respectively.

However, it wasn’t just the time saved that captured the team’s attention. Thanks to the tool surfacing pinpoint metrics and verbatims, the team could delve deeper into their feedback to stakeholders without creating an excessive workload.

This added detail has already made a significant impact. Following detractor feedback around poor bathroom facilities in a specific section of the stadium, the team’s primary stakeholder was compelled to act, approving upgrades to these facilities to be completed before the team’s week two home opener.
