It’s been a strange couple of weeks, for lots of people there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel as lockdown restrictions have been relaxed, but for one government advisor, who it transpires didn’t exactly stick to restrictions – there are dark days ahead.
For our latest report, we’ve investigated two main areas of interest surrounding conversations on coronavirus taking place in forums and social media. Firstly – topics and themes that distinguishes three main demographics – mums, the financially focused, and the health focused, and secondly – we compared language of the press on Twitter, to how consumers are talking regarding the PM’s senior advisor Dominic Cummings and his 260 mile road trip.
In addition to this report, we will be running an accompanying webinar which will be an opportunity to talk about the recent findings and to help you to think about text analysis as a tool for understanding audiences, where we will give you some ideas about how our technology can give you insights on this pandemic that you can’t get anywhere else.
